Are you staying on the ground floor? Then you can exit via your terrace. In case of smoke: keep as low to the ground as possible and protect your airways with a damp towel. If escape routes are not accessible, go to your balcony/terrace and report your location. Our FAFS colleagues will escort you outside and to the assembly point.
Our front desk team will be happy to assist you in contacting a general practitioner (GP) or the out-of-hours GP service. Outside office hours, you can contact the GP emergency service in Middelburg (phone registration required).

Your room is equipped with a safe in which you can keep valuables safe.
Lock doors and windows securely when you leave, including the balcony. Do not leave valuables visible in your car.

Please note that it is busiest during breakfast between 09:30 and 10:30. You may then have to wait a while for an available table.
In the morning, you can enjoy our breakfast buffet in restaurant 'bij Jules'. You are welcome to take a seat in the restaurant, in the lounge or on the terrace.
If you are travelling with a group of 3 people or more, you can reserve a table for breakfast in advance if you wish.
We can reserve a time if you take your table by 8.30 at the latest. You can also have breakfast without reservation, but we cannot guarantee a table for the entire party.
Would you prefer to enjoy breakfast in the comfort of your room? You can order breakfast to be served in your room.
A room service charge of €7.50 per person applies, in addition to the price of the breakfast itself. You can place your order with the reception until 10:00 PM.
In good weather, our garden terrace is open. Enjoy a delicious snack and drink in the sun!

Check-in is guaranteed at 15:00 on the day of arrival. If your room is ready earlier, you can get the room key earlier.
Upon arrival, we’ll of course give you a warm welcome. After that, you can easily check in yourself at our kiosks: enter your last name, find your reservation, and create your own key card right away. Prefer a little help instead? No problem, we’re always happy to assist!
Check-out is possible until 11:30. Should you wish a late check out (until 13:00), you can request this at our front desk (for a fee).
Your room door locks automatically when you close it. Because we want to avoid noise pollution, the door closers are not tightly adjusted. You may have to pull the door shut behind you yourself to close it properly.
On departure, you can deposit your key card in the key box at our front desk.
Our night reception is available from 23:00 to 07:00 and can be reached via phone number 9. When the entrance is closed, you can use the night bell. Our night porter will keep watch inside and be happy to help you.
You can pay by pin, cash or credit card (AMEX, VISA, Mastercard, JCB). Bills will not be sent afterwards; payment is made on arrival or departure, unless paid in advance.
Do you see something that needs attention? Feel free to report it to our front desk (call 9). We will do our best to resolve this for you in consultation with our Technical Department.
We have 4 charging points for electric cars on site. For e-bikes and mobility scooters, charging points are available at the bike shed and at the front of the hotel.

Parking costs €10 per night, unless you book directly with us. In that case, parking is free of charge.
You can park with us from 13:00 on the day of arrival until 13:00 on the day of departure.
There are two accessible parking spaces available for guests with a valid permit.

Upon request, we are happy to place a baby cot or extra bed in your room (for a fee).

In our rooms you will find a coffee and tea machine including tea bags and two types of coffee cups. Do you prefer decaf coffee? You can pick up decaf cups at the front desk. Shaving and toothbrush sets, hygiene kits, sewing kits, shoe polish sponges and shower caps are available at our front desk.
These can be found on the 1st floor, next to the lift in the central core.
Each room has its own minibar. This is not filled and can refrigerate some drinks if necessary.
There are four pillows in each room. Would you like an extra pillow or blanket? Call 9; we will gladly bring it by.
These are available at our front desk.
Every day you have standard cleaning service. If you hang up the towels, they will not be replaced. If you put the towels on the floor, clean ones will be hung up.
If the room does not need cleaning, you can hang the 'Choose green' voucher hanger on the door. Then housekeeping will not come to the room. And you can pick up a coin worth €5 at reception. You can spend this in our restaurant, lounge, bar or terrace.
You can ask for extra coffee cups at our reception.
Housekeeping first cleans the departing rooms and will then clean the remaining rooms. It is therefore possible that your room will be cleaned in the afternoon.
In your closet, you will find a safe for valuables.
You can call from your room to other rooms. For 3-digit rooms, key only the room number, e.g. 110.
For other rooms: key 2(0) + room number, e.g. 202/268.
Outside line: key 0 -+Outside: 0 + 00 + country code.
External calls are charged for.

You can rent bicycles from us to explore the surrounding area.
The bicycles have 3 speeds, a hand brake, and adjustable seats and handlebars. The price is €15 per day or €12 for 4 hours.
We also rent electric bikes. These have a range of 50 to 100 kilometers. The price is €37.50 per day.
You can rent bikes at the reception desk, subject to availability.
Our gym is open from 07:00 to 23:00. It can be found on the ground floor. You enter the corridor at our reception. You get access with your room key card.
Our infrared sauna is open from 07:00 to 23:00. It can be found on the ground floor. Enter the corridor by the reception. The sauna cabins are located at the back of the gym. We kindly ask you to wear swimwear when using the sauna. When you turn on the cabin, it heats up to the desired temperature within 5-10 minutes.
During hot days, ants can sometimes occur. Therefore, store sweets preferably sealed.
Children can enjoy playing on the equipment on our garden terrace. Adult supervision is recommended.

To keep all rooms fresh and comfortable, we can only accommodate assistance dogs (for a fee).
You can pleasantly smoke outside on your balcony, patio or on our outdoor terraces. The inside of the hotel is smoke-free, so everyone can enjoy a fresh and pleasant environment. Please close the door behind you to avoid odour nuisance. Additional cleaning due to indoor smoking will be charged €500.
