The origins of Westduin Beach Hotel lie in a simple stage station in an old wooden farmhouse at the foot of the dunes at the Galgenweg. Mr and Mrs Huvers-Hille started selling coffee, tea, lemonade, candy and 'stroopwafels’ (syrup waffles) here in 1926.
